Copyright Emilia M\u00e4kel\u00e4.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>F\u00f6rutom utsl\u00e4pp fr\u00e5n fabriker och f\u00f6retag som producerar eller anv\u00e4nder farliga \u00e4mnen, kan \u00e4mnena komma till avloppsreningsverken fr\u00e5n den dagliga anv\u00e4ndningen av konsumentprodukter t.ex. PVC, teflonpannor, skidvallor\/skidvaxer och flamskyddsmedel i elektrisk utrustning.<\/p>\n<p>I Waterchain-projektet har vi fokuserat p\u00e5 fyra grupper med farliga \u00e4mnen som beskrivs i detalj nedan. P\u00e5 EU-niv\u00e5 har dessa \u00e4mnen bed\u00f6mts utg\u00f6ra ett allvarligt hot:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#1\">Perfluorerade \u00e4mnen<\/a> (PFOA och PFOS) finns p\u00e5 listan i EU-direktivet med gemensamma gr\u00e4nsv\u00e4rden, Environmental Quality Standards (EQS) Directive 39\/2013\/EU och \u00e4mnena \u00e4r utpekade som prioriterade \u00e4mnen i Baltic Sea Action Plan.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#2\">L\u00e4kemedelsrester<\/a> finns upptagna p\u00e5 EUs bevakningningslista enligt EQS Direktivet 39\/2013\/EU.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#3\">Ftalaten<\/a> (DEHP) som anv\u00e4nds som mjukg\u00f6rare f\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra PVC plast mjuk, flexibel och sv\u00e5rare att bryta s\u00f6nder, \u00e5terfinns i listan enligt EQS direktivet 39\/2013\/EU.<\/li>\n<li>23 <a href=\"#4\">bek\u00e4mpningsmedel<\/a> \u00e4r upptagna p\u00e5 listan i EQS direktivet 39\/2013\/EU, som totalt inneh\u00e5ller 45 \u00e4mnen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX:32013L0039\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EU-direktivet med gemensamma gr\u00e4nsv\u00e4rden eller milj\u00f6kvalitetsnormer, Environmental Quality Standards (EQS) Directive 39\/2013\/EU<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.helcom.fi\/baltic-sea-trends\/indicators\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prioriterade \u00e4mnen i Baltic Sea Action Plan (BSAP)<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<div id=\"accordion-1\" class=\"accordion no-js\"><\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 role=\"button\" id=\"1\" class=\"accordion-title js-accordion-controller\" aria-controls=\"content-1\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\">\n\t\t\t\tPerfluorerade \u00e4mnen\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t<div id=\"content-1\" class=\"accordion-content\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\t<div class=\"gridable gridable--row\" >\n\t\t\t<div class=\"gridable--col col-4\" >\n\t\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.waterchain.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Perfluorinated-compounds_Copyright-Emilia-M\u00e4kel\u00e4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"481\" \/><\/p>\t<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"gridable--col col-8\" >\n\t\t<p>Perfluorerade \u00e4mnen (PFC) finns i non-stick kastruller och pannor, tyg, fl\u00e4ckskydd p\u00e5 m\u00f6beltyger och mattor, matf\u00f6rpackningsmaterial, brandsl\u00e4ckningsskum, flyg och bilar, byggmaterial och i elektronik. De tv\u00e5 viktigaste undergrupperna av perfluorerade \u00e4mnen \u00e4r perfluoroktansulfonat (PFOS) och perfluoroktansyra (PFOA).<\/p>\n<p>Perfluorerade \u00e4mnen kan frig\u00f6ras till milj\u00f6n n\u00e4r produkter tillverkas, anv\u00e4nds eller kasseras. \u00c4mnena \u00e4r mycket stabila och klassas d\u00e4rf\u00f6r som persistenta organiska f\u00f6roreningar.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e4nniskor \u00e4r huvudsakligen exponerade f\u00f6r sm\u00e5 m\u00e4ngder perfluorerade \u00e4mnen i livsmedel, dricksvatten och via \u00f6verf\u00f6ring fr\u00e5n konsumentprodukter som inneh\u00e5ller dessa \u00e4mnen (t.ex. livsmedelsf\u00f6rpackningar och kl\u00e4der). I industrialiserade l\u00e4nder har perfluorerade \u00e4mnen hittats i n\u00e4stan alla medborgares blod. L\u00e4kemedelsrester n\u00e5r milj\u00f6n via avloppsreningsverk, sjukhus och anl\u00e4ggningar f\u00f6r djuruppf\u00f6dning. Produktionsanl\u00e4ggningar f\u00f6r l\u00e4kemedel med bristande rening av processavloppsvatten \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 en risk och utg\u00f6r en spridningsv\u00e4g f\u00f6r l\u00e4kemedelsrester.<\/p>\n<p>De aktiva komponenterna i olika typer av mediciner har detekterats i sj\u00f6ar, floder, havet och i grundvatten. Skadliga effekter inkluderar st\u00f6rningar hos vattenlevande organismer n\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller reproduktion, tillv\u00e4xt och beteeende. Bara begr\u00e4nsad kunskap finns om hur exponering av l\u00e5ga l\u00e4kemedelskoncentrationer under l\u00e5ng tid p\u00e5verkar djur och m\u00e4nniskor. F\u00f6rutom fr\u00e5n plastskr\u00e4p kan mikroplaster h\u00e4rr\u00f6ra fr\u00e5n v\u00e4gtrafik, textilier, industri och kosmetika.<\/p>\n<p>De flesta plaster inneh\u00e5ller tillsats\u00e4mnen: fyllmedel (fillers), mjukg\u00f6rare och f\u00e4rgpigment som alla l\u00e4cker till milj\u00f6n. I vatten kan mikroplaster fungera som en b\u00e4rare av f\u00f6roreningar som adsorberas p\u00e5 partiklarnas yta. Omfattningen av adsorptionen p\u00e5 mikroplaster diskuteras dock i forskarv\u00e4rlden.<\/p>\n<p>Antalet djur som d\u00f6dats av svald plast eller d\u00f6tt efter att ha fastnat i plastrep och annat skr\u00e4p har \u00f6kat. M\u00e4nniskor kan exponeras f\u00f6r kemikalier i plast genom att \u00e4ta plastf\u00f6rpackad mat eller genom att \u00e4ta fisk och skaldjur som f\u00f6rorenats med mikroplaster.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FTALATER<\/strong><br \/>\nAnv\u00e4nds f\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra plaster mjuka, flexibla och sv\u00e5rare att bryta s\u00f6nder. \u00c5terfinns i vinylgolv, kl\u00e4der, kabelh\u00f6ljen, duschdraperier, tv\u00e5lar, schampon och nagellack. Studier har kopplat ftalater till br\u00f6stcancer, fetma, f\u00f6r tidig f\u00f6dsel, st\u00f6rning i intellektuell utveckling, allergier, diabetes och hormonst\u00f6rningar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BISFENOL A<\/strong><br \/>\nAnv\u00e4nds i vattenflaskor, kvitton och i innerskiktet i konservburkar. Studier kopplade till fetma, rubbning i sk\u00f6ldk\u00f6rteln, \u00f6kad cancerrisk och astma. Kemiska bek\u00e4mpningsmedel inneh\u00e5ller aktiv substans, b\u00e4rar\u00e4mnen och i m\u00e5nga fall tillsats\u00e4mnen som f\u00f6rst\u00e4rker effekten av bek\u00e4mpningsmedlet.<\/p>\n<p>Varje \u00e5r anv\u00e4nds runt 2 miljoner ton bek\u00e4mpningsmedel i v\u00e4rlden. Mest konsumeras i Europa f\u00f6ljt av USA.<\/p>\n<p>DEN ALLM\u00c4NNA TRENDEN \u00c4R EN \u00d6KAD ANV\u00c4NDNING AV BEK\u00c4MPNINGSMEDEL B\u00c5DE I JORDBRUK OCH HEMTR\u00c4DG\u00c5RDAR.<\/p>\n<p>Bek\u00e4mpningsmedel kan f\u00f6rs\u00e4mra jordbrukarnas h\u00e4lsa och f\u00f6rorena livsmedel och jord. Kemikalierna ackumuleras i organismer inklusive m\u00e4nniskor. F\u00f6rbjudna bek\u00e4mpningsmedel kan vara best\u00e4ndiga i milj\u00f6n under l\u00e5ng tid (t.ex. DDT och trifluralin).
